The list of research institutions and higher education establishments that try to prove themselves useful in the field of Virtual Reality constantly changes. This happens due to many of them stopping the research for any reason and many joining the task: develop the technology, unveil more controversial and new information, collect data and prove theories.

  1. London Virtual Reality Group
    Description: The London Virtual Reality Group was formed to create a forum to enable all interested in VR - academics, artists, media and industry - to meet and share ideas, information and findings related to VR. lvrg is based in London, but is still open to all.

  2. SRI International's Virtual Perception Program at Artificial Intelligence Center (AIC)
    Description: SRI International's Artificial Intelligence Center (AIC) is one of the world's major centers of research in artificial intelligence. Founded in 1966, the AIC has been a pioneer and a major contributor to the development of computer capabilities for intelligent behavior in complex situations.
